Ex-partner has already deleted characters, I’ve got a character back but now she is getting real world traders to send me money so that my account gets permenantly banned. The easy solution would be for Anet to change my account name (so they can’t send me money as my ex won’t know), is that possible?

Also, I have replied to a ticket they made on the suspension, will they respond to that or will I have to make a new ticket?

You’re either screwed or you’ll need a very understanding GM. I’ve never heard of anyone getting his/ her account name changed, but who knows, you’ll find out once they reply. As long as the old ticket wasn’t ‘finished’, pretty sure they’ll reply.

Actually, it’s possible to change an account name, but the range of circumstances are extremely small. This might qualify — but yes, your ticket will get a response from their CS people.

They said they won’t change it because it is known to cause bugs :/
