Just curious, can someone shorten this suspension? I wanted to get in some gaming before the weekend and I got reported for swearing at some guy I didn’t like, I think 3 days is a long-ace time for verbal abuse…

verbal abuse is build into the fabric of the online gaming experience

further.. in every other game people can use the “ignore” button, not everyone gets suspended every time they talk smack :/

You have block button in this game too, the blocked player can’t send you emails neither whisper. Not everyone gets reported every time they talk smack.

I know some cases they remove/shorten the suspension because it was a mistake or wasn’t too serious.

Yeah I was just seeing if a mod here could speed up the process, I think its serious BS that they would do a 3 suspension over language to one player :/

Account suspensions for various infractions are generally for 3 days. This is ArenaNet’s policy, in effect since the game launched. ArenaNet are keen to actually uphold the Terms of Service and End User’s Licence Agreement, so be sure to read and understand them so you don’t run foul of them again. I also doubt that they will lift the suspension early. If they did lift it early for you, they would end up having to lift it for others, which just leads to nobody paying attention to the user agreements and a less enjoyable place to play.

I really doubt it too. Just don’t do it again because it will escalate.

So I can’t swear in an online game? I thought online was the best place to talk smack and now I am
