Thought the game was fun been playing it went to work came home account has been terminated…. I need to get back on so i can play with my friend who just bought the game can someone help me?

An account gets normally terminated cause there is either an issue with your security (you got hacked) or you have been doing things that are against the terms of service.

The error message when you try to log in should give you a good indication what the reason was. If it was cause of an issue with your security. You need to contact support. After verification that you are the account owner they can help you get full control back and then likely get you back in the game playing.

If it is because yourself acted against the ToS, it is highly unlikely the decission will be reversed. The most common reasons are:
- Botting
- Hacking
- Selling gold/buying gold outside the official gemmarket
- using an exploit
- being unrespectfull against others (normally your first offense is only a temporary suspension).
- names that are not allowed (normally your first offense is only a temporary suspension).

If you don’t recognize yourself in the things that you have done wrong you can appeal the decision by filling a support ticket. If you did do what they are claiming it is very unlikely they will re-instate your account.

Let us know the outcome, had mine terminated as i was playing today. not sure if its happening to alot of people since the update.

Hopefully it’s just a mistake for both our sakes if you’re not involved with the offenses mercury has listed.

Im in the same situation as you are. I came home from being away for 2 weeks, try to log on and bam…. account has been terminated. I put a ticket in so hopefully this gets taken care of. Dont really know what the issue could be.

Before I left I was in WvW…

I got this ban today, I haven’t even played the game for about a week. Logged on to find I’ve been banned for tampering with the game WTH… I go to support to put in a ticket but the support site will not let me login I keep getting a generic “something went wrong message” This is ridiculous!!….

So I’ve been banned even though I haven’t played for days and then cannot file a complaint.. Help me this is really aggravating ……….

You dont need to log in to file a ticket. just ask a question on the site. Make sure you fill in the details bout your account name and emailadress so they can verify its you and you will get an answer.

Guys I have a big problem! I was playing my game and just went into the heart of the mist to shortcut to lions arch, I go through the portal and boom! Game shuts down and when it restarts I get a message saying im banned?! Please help! It says I have “been terminated for modifying or tampering with the game”. I don’t understand to my knowledge I have not done anything to the game? I have been experiencing huge internet problems over the last couple of weeks causing me to lag, log in and out and over all just not run smoothly. Could that be why? I am using something called pinnacle game profiler to allow me to use a controller instead of mouse and keyboard is that why? I am really upset here as Guild wars 2 has became a part of my life with my friends. I bought it very close to release, have purchased numerous times from the trading post will real money and gold, participated with the comunity actively and been a real promoter of the game to all my friends who don’t play. I even had and played the life out of Guild Wars 1. I need some support here guys, please help! If there is something I have done wrong in your eyes please to tell me and I wont do it again, I just want to get back into my account with the friends and experiences I have built apon almost since the start of the game.

I just tried to “Ask a Question” on the support page. Filled every box and clicked continue it then says “Submiting…” for a long time, then times out same as when trying to create a account.

I to use “Pinnacle Game Profiler” and an xbox controller but I have been using this program since beta so I find it odd that they would ban for it now.

Yea that’s what Im not sure about? This really sucks! Do they think I was a bot because I have recently started hard farming in a quest for incinerator or what?
