On 2 Feb 2013 my account was banned because of my name (SintLucifer and SaintLucifer). After some email conversation with the support they unbannend my account but i had to change all my character names (Even my uniek name with the numbers has changed by ArenaNet TO SaintLucifer.4791). Below you can see the email converstation i had and the new names i was going to use were APPROVED by ArenaNet that this won’t be a problem.

Greetings,

The names you have picked are ok, please just be mindful of your fellow players. The name “Saint Match”, while still a reference to Lucifer, is not well known. For that reason you may use it, but please refrain from using names people will be offended with.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact us.

Dear Lloyd,

I have changed the ingame character accounts to the following (Saint Match
(little joke), Sint Luci and SintLuci). I hope that these names
are appropriate.
If not then please let me know so we can figure this out.

kind regards,

Your account is not suspended, but if you have names that are blocked — and you’ve had quite a few and appear to have had at least one today — each offensive name needs to be changed. Let me give you some advice: Get over the Lucifer thing. Stop trying to cross the line, chose a totally different name, and you should be fine.

Incidentally, your Display Name is unacceptable and will be changed. Sorry, but with your regular exposure to the Name and Word Filter, I’m sure what I’ve written comes as no surprise to you.
