Guild Wars 2

Hey all.

Been trying to run GW2 with Linux Ubuntu. I know the limitations and that it is experimental, I also know about the PlayonLinux options and such. I was able to get the game working about a month ago and it ran fairly well considering it only utilizes one processor in Linux.

Now for my problem. I had to uninstall Linux on that partition due to a problem unrelated to GW2. I reinstalled everything and have it all downloaded. For some reason, when I run GW2, I get the crisp sounds, but absolutely no video. So basically I am logged into the welcome screen as I can hear the intro music, but there is no visual to allow me to choose my character. My sense is that this has to do with some video component not updated (i.e dx9, flash, etc). My vid card is fine, has run it without a problem before as I stated, even at high quality. I have used all different wine versions with the same outcome.

Anyone have any ideas or input? All are welcome, none are silly. Would be great to see if I can fix this problem. As a bonus, I will offer 5 gold to the person who successfully provides the solution
