App not responding
I have the exact same problem. My game still works window-side on the same computer.
We just updated the Mac Beta installer to include our newest launcher, which could help if you are having issues with the first launch of the client.
You can download it from the same location on the account page:
https://account.guildwars2.com/download
Note: Re-installing will overwrite the existing game, and you will have to download the game content again. Only re-install if you are having trouble with the launcher. If you are able to log into the launcher, then your client is up to date, and re-installing is unlikely help at this time.
This version of the launcher also has better error recovery, so if your problems persist, it may help to let the launcher stay on-screen for a minute or two.

I m having the same issue. I just download and install the App and when I click it nothing happens.
Mac Mini Server, Mid-2011 with i7, intel HD 3000 and 8 GB of ram.
Mac OS X version 10.7.5
Any help?
Hi Tom, sounds like the same thing I made a thread about. Try making a new user on Mac OS that does not have admin privileges and has no password. Try opening the app on this user and see what happens…
Thanks for the reply Pylorik. I just tried that out but still not working.. I also re install it in the new non-password non-admin account but nothing. It asks for admin credentials when its being installed but that s it, once entered it finishes correctly. Don’t know what can be wrong..
Here are the logs that keeps showing up every time I try to launch the application..
10/21/12 5:56:43.458 PM cider: regapi failed: 1
10/21/12 5:56:44.193 PM [].com.transgaming.guildwars2: wineserver: bind : Invalid argument
10/21/12 5:56:44.197 PM com.apple.launchd.peruser.501: ([].com.transgaming.guildwars2[]) Exited with code: 1
Ok. I finally got it to run by executing the MacOs/cider file with sudo privileges.. If not the launcher would crash..
Could you explain how to execute the MacOs/cider file with sudo privilege. I’m a relative Mac novice. Thanks again
Sorry to hear my method didn’t work Tom. If you could post that sudo that’d be cool. I’d really like to be able to play the game on my main user account, lol.
This may be the same issue actually….
Whenever I start the launcher it does the same thing. However It DOES eventually load up after about a minute and a half or 2 minutes. how long have you guys waited before closing the launcher?
