Hi,

I’m a bit conserned with the massive Maveric update which is coming, are you upgrading the Cider installation to be compatible and use the new GFX in the bottom of the new OS?

I can see this as game breaking for most Mac users as they are quite upgrade happy and esp for me as I might have to upgrade considering work needs me to go latest version.

Ofcourse a native client is the best I could hope for for the new OS platform Apple is releasing and keep the Cider port for the older versions of OSX.

Hoping you can shed some light on this

This would be a much welcomed update from Anet!

I’d love to hear a little on this status and “future of” for us.

Thanks!

I don’t speak for Apple or any other developer, but I can tell you I have the Mac beta on a developer preview of 10.9 and it works fine.

God to hear that it’s working on the beta. Now it would be even better if there is a cider update for the new OpenGL version which would improve the performance kittenloads.

Just another confirmation on it working on the developer preview of Maverick.

In regards to Transgaming updating cider(wine) to take advantage of the new stuff under the hood I find it unlikely to happen any time soon they’re notoriously slow on updates even to their paying customers paying crazy support contract fees

Whatever this Maverick is, is it going to bring some quality to the Mac Beta?
