So after I got my account hacked last week and my inventory wiped, I sent in a ticket and followed up each time. I changed my emails, passwords, etc… and in one message a GM said my ticket was being escalated for item restoration. I waited a long time and then when I got a response, another GM said to re submit an item restoration ticket. Still waiting on that ArenaNet. Last friday around 10 PM I logged out. Next day I was hacked and everything was gone. items, gold, laurels, etc… How long am I gonna be under review for before I can get back to playing my character? I want my stuff back and my digital deluxe stuff and I have not had a response to if I am going to get a reset or not. I only got to play this game for four or five days and now it is feeling like I wasted my money as I got hacked in under a week of playing and I have yet to get my progress restored. I understand the devs are busy a lot but eventually it becomes an unreasonable wait time. So do I get my stuff back, delete my character and start over so I can have my digital deluxe items again and and be on par on wealth to progress, or get a refund on this game since I have no reason to play a character that doesn’t work really since I lost everything. I also hope the hacker was caught since all you have to do is look at the only account my account shows to have given gold to after my log out on friday night. Oh and just to clarify, when I say last friday I mean august 29th.

So ArenaNet, can I please play the game I gave you money to be able to play?

Your post is a little confusing since you said you have been waiting a long time and then said you were hacked last Friday. I’m assuming it was Friday a week ago then, not the last one 2 days ago.

Did you do a full security sweep of your computer? If not, the hacker could have gotten into your email and might be deleting the emails from ANet. It wouldn’t hurt to do another sweep and then change the password on your email.

Then check your spam and junk folders, sometimes they go in there. You can read this thread, Not getting out emails for more information.

If it’s been over 3 days since you heard from them you can post your ticket number in the above stickied thread, Tickets for review-3 days and older.

I changed the email for the game, which I have access to on my phone.. Also changed the password, the password for my email, and put on a mobile authenticator. And yes sorry by last friday I mean august 29th. I do pop into the game now and then to check my character but nothing has changed. I guess I will try that thread then
