Yay! I’m so glad it worked! Must have been a corrupt windows file from Windows 8, perhaps? I’m glad you’re able to play now!

Thank you for your help, I am able to play, yes.
The game crashed on me twice, but it didn’t ask me to repair.
I went to the appdata folder for Guild Wars 2, it was full of corrupted files there before, now there are none, there’s only Local.dat file and some text file called “ArenaNet”.
It was full of corrupted things before.
The text file does mention some errors, can you check it out and see if you understand it ?

nvd3dum.dll is an error with your Nvidia driver.

Go into your device manager in windows, roll the driver back to it’s previous version, and then update again to the recommended driver.

See if that helps.

I will, thank you.
I spent a bunch of hours on gw2 today, after that crash, no more happened.
Played smoothly, and after I exited, I opened the game again, to see if I had to repair, and I didn’t.
Before it always asked me to repair, even if the game didn’t crash.
Now it didn’t.
That seems to be fixed, thanks for all your help with that.
I’ll try that with the Nvidia driver and let you know what happens.

Seems that there is no hope for me, just got another corrupt file.
I’m realy starting to think that there is something wrong with my hardware, despite all the tests I did and no errors popped up.
Maybe it’s my memories, memtests didn’t accuse any error though.
But I don’t think both of my drives would be messed up, and that happens when I have the game installed in both of them.
My CPU accuses no errors too.
I’m inclined to say it’s my memories, because I have 8GB, 4GBx2, and both the modules are from different brands, maybe that’s the problem, I don’t know.
But it looks like I’ll have to spend money on this again.

I realy don’t know what to do, I’m been trading emails with Arena Net, all they said is to stop my background programs, wich didn’t fix a thing.
I sent them all my crash reports, Hijack This Log and Game Advisor Log since I have windows 8.1.
I’m going to leave the same thing here, if anybody wants to check it out, thank you.
