Authenticator issues missed in game content

I recently had an issue with the mobile authenticator, leaving me unable to access GW2 in any way, this took Customer Support five days to resolve. In this time frame I couldn’t purchase Mad King’s Outfit which was on sale for only a few days during the time i was unable to access the game. I am curious if there was a way to obtain as I couldn’t access game or in game content.

The item will most likely be back at Halloween. They don’t really have a way to sell you an item that isn’t available in store.
