Guild Wars 2

I’m looking for help in resolving an issue my character has. When ever I get into range of any enemy character, creep, or target-able feature my character will target it and begin shooting automatically (I use a rifle mostly). This also occurs when something wanders into range of my character. He will target the new target and begin shooting without me even touching the computer in any way.
I’ve checked my keyboard and mouse of stuck keys and buttons with nothing found. I’ve unplugged each device. I’ve ensured the CTRL, ALT, or Shift keys are not stuck. I’d like to keep auto targeting on.
Of note, when I turn off auto targeting my character will begin shooting the moment I target something most of the time.
This issue makes WvW and dungeons more challenging than I’d like. People in game, of course, think I’m making this up.
Could I be pointed toward some client changes or stuck key combinations that might replicate this behavior and lead towards a fix.
My particular inputs devices are;
Keyboard = Saitek Eclipse
Mouse = Razer Lachesis

Ctrl / mouse 2 (on the skill which is on the bar) works as a toggle to disable and enable auto attacks.
