Autoattack does not work while jumping
please remove that stupid condition from the game code that will say:
if ( character touches the ground ){
allow casting
} else{
don’t allow it
}
this might be a feature, so that you’re not jump shotting (running away, jumping and turning and shooting at same time while still moving away). if it isnt a feature, its one major flaw in the game.
don’t think about running away.. think about standing still face to face with the mob .. and spam jump button.. ( autoattack does not work )
Why don’t you just use the dodge button instead?
Auto attack should still work after using it and besides, dodging is far better at keeping distance than trying to hop like a rabbit in most other mmo’s.

There are skills that require you to stand still (e.g. hundred blades, warrior), there are skills that require your feet to be on the ground (e.g. switching kits, engineer) and there are skills that can be cast while jumping (e.g. throwing grenades, engineer).
The only thing I would suggest is putting this information in the tooltip, but otherwise it’s a good system.
