I want to ask, why on GW2 you just got banned without any warning or notification ?
As far as i know, on online game. We as gamer are usually get a warning or notification if doing a mistake like forget to log off a game, or leaving in the middle of battle. But on GW2 we just got banned immediately without any clear reason. And then when we send a email to a support, what we get is an automated reply that states our account was permanently terminated.
Is this how you treat your customer that pay for this expensive games ?
Apparently yes, got banned and later on terminated too.. no warning no nothing, instant ban. Wasted $50 on this game.
It is somewhat shocking that the shotgun approach is to ban/terminate first, maybe ask questions some time later. Who ever heard of just mass random banning people for a NEW game without any logic.
If you’re looking for a way to kill a game, this is the way to do it.
To be honest, the best way to resolve this is to start over. Un-ban everyone and then institute a more methodical manner to ban accounts.
Even on any online game, people just not get banned immediately, they got warning message or account suspend with a clear reason so they can resolve what the problems is. This game is not a free to play, we pay for it. So banned without prior notification or warning is a little bit offending to a customer. Especially i don’t understand what 3rd party program and bot that they mean. I need an answer from GW2 representative for what program that’s on my computer that cause this banned.
Or this just how they do a business to banned other people account so they can sold more game to other customer because there’s empty slot on their server now after other get banned.

the thing is, they dont give a $$ to us , cause more and mroe ppl will buy the game, and we can do nothing about they setealing our 60$ .
the only thing we can do is goin on social networks and tell ppl the $#%#$% that is goin on with this game

Same situation here just got banned out of no where before their server build update , very sad =( was actually enjoying this game so much.
On a side note , is the program WTF fast against rules? because i use that just for ping , i don’t know if it’s against the rules or not
Same for me, i submitted a support when i found out i was banned, after 3days, the status on my support ticket changed from unresolved to updated, but nothing changes. i dont even know what is the outcome of the appeal. Ticket Number : 120912-000088
What make’s me really confuse is that they accuse me for using third party program and bot that i don’t use, and they even doesn’t email me for clarification, confirmation or warn or anything. Just banned me for unclear reason, and then left me with no explanation
What weird is, i do play BF3 and League of Legend, but i never see a company that do something like this. Banned people without warning, notification or confirmation is so outrageous.
If this continues, i will report this company to BBB.org for bad services and fraud against customers and i will post on another forum how the treat me. I have screen capture of the automated mail reply that came to my mail inbox that answer my disappointment.
