Banned account and new serial key
If you did not get an answer to your ticket post to the “older than 3 days threat” make sure to include your TicketNumber
Make sure your ticket includes your Serialnumber, where you bought the game, when you bought the game, what you paid with (transaction numbers, last 4 digets of credit cards).
Also dont count on it being solved very fast. Its a complicated situation. Im waiting for 21 days now to have mine solved.
I already posted in this thread few times, you are waiting 21 days, really, it’s just sad how support is destroying this game.
Well its very complicated to sort out what exatly happend. They need to find the “bad boy” make sure you are not one of them, verify your identity and so on. Considering there are bugs with lost shore, problems with the new refer a friend system and also lots of others tickets I understand that complicated issues take longer to solve.

ur case is still under investigation, right? u have to wait until u get msg tht ur account’s released. or not gonna happen to get ur account back.
once ur account’s released, u can try to link new sn to ur account.
but I suggest tht if there’s nothing much valuable to take on ur toons,
ask refund for former purchase, go make new account with new SN.
because in my case it took very long time to get my account released, I re-purchased GW2,applied new sn to my existing account but my account’s still suspended.
it seems like it’s not instant process or having problem with it.
so u may have to wait another days for another investigation.

poohy, they wont look into ur case unless u get a ticket up on support.
if u bought ur game thru official site, put detail info of ur register email
serial code, and ur card transaction on ur ticket.
tht’s how I got my account released(it took very long time though)
and I highly recommend u to check if card transaction’s ACQURIED or
Canceled and actually they took ur money from ur bank account.
I highly suspect tht some card billing system error on ARENANET caused all these
problems. but u still have to prove by all means to get response from Arenanet.
they barely dont ask what info they need to solve problem on ticket from what I’v experienced. it’s like a puzzle, so u actually have to figure out what’s wrong exactly by
urself.
if ur card transaction remains as not acquired for long period, it will be canceled automatically, wont charge. so u dont need to ask refund.
u got another new key, u better make new account with it because u’ll get more for
same period than waiting and wasting time until ur account back.

Gratz, Leira I believe serial code has specific region code on it. from what I’v reseached, someone who belongs neither north america/mexico nor europe was given north american account before. but seems like they’v changed.
I got similiar msg like urs but I asked about tht on ticket before , got no response.
I am from Europe. SO I dont know what to do now to keep my progress

Released, or reinstated? Reinstated you should be good to go, but released you need a new serial key. Support should be able to help you if you need clarification on what key you need (my understanding is once used/made there is no difference.

I got response that my code is fraudulent and my serial code and account is banned, but it was 10 days ago and now wait for answer (for 10 days) about unbannig my account

Well, I just got a response to my old ticket – the one that is 2 weeks old now… Which was odd since I did not even expect an answer to that after I responded to the message that my account was closed to to fraudulent purchase etc…
Been getting fast responses to my new ticket as well… Which is nice. Still waiting for the final go ahead so I know I can play when the physical copy arrives, would hate to wait around for a week with the game in hand and not be able to play.
@Leira: If you have a wrong area serial (as your posts suggest to me), you should claim your money back from your first seller. Then you should buy a European serial and you should apply this new one.
But I would suggest, that you ask exact proceedings or recommendations via your support ticket. Makes no sense to do something and it will not work out.

This is correct. If you acquired a code from the wrong region, you may not be able to register it, so please do be sure to get the proper code.

Thanks Gaile. Sadly I dont know how to get a north american code. I only received an european one. Hopefully this still works. Or ill have to sell it again and try to get a north american one.
