I have had this crashing problem since launch no….since BETA. I know it’s not my computer because it runs plenty of other games just fine. The drivers and bios are all up to date.
It’s running Windows 8.1 64 bit
AMD FX 8150 CPU
16GB of G.Skill ares memory at 1600mhz
GTX 560 graphics

I have heard that Guild Wars 2 doesn’t like SSD’s and doesn’t like CPU turbo or anything to do with the CPU being overclocked.

There has been enough optimization issues with this game just to run it, but you’re telling me in order not to crash 2-3 times every hour I have to underclock my CPU and revert back to an HDD? That’s a little ridiculous. Why hasn’t this stuff been fixed and optimized yet?

If anybody knows a fix let me know. I have over 600 hours played on this game and it has crashed about 500 times.

Your graphics driver is crashing. This usually means that your GPU is failing OR some piece of software is interfering, causing the crash.

My graphics drivers are up to date. I have the NVIDIA Geforce experience program to make sure of it. My other games do just fine.. I wonder why gw2 would be telling me my graphics driver is messed up every single time even after multiple updates. This has been going on for years.

Your issue is with nvd3dum.dll you need to completely uninstall your video card drivers and reinstall, Google nvd3dum.dll and you can see some if the fixes people have done.
