Guild Wars 2

I haven’t played this game for a a few yers, but a friend of mine said he wanted to try GW2 after it became f2p. I know that some other MMOS that followed the same model, like Rift or Wildstar, offered some benefits (cash or ‘premium subscription’) for everyone who previously owned the game, or a subscrition, is there a such thing here?

This game does not have subscription so I do not think arena net could offer some premium subscription or subscription to return player. To answer question nothing like that with GW2. You just get to play again and not lose any progress from when you stop playing before.

Your benefits are the lack of restrictions that Play4Free accounts encounter. Also, a free character slot if you pre-purchase HoT, and some other goodies for ‘Veteran’ accounts.
