Guild Wars 2

Good day all. Quite enjoying the game – thank you.
As this is a Beta version, I’m guessing someone wants to know about systemwide crash that occurs about 35% of the time when exiting the game.
This occurs about 50 to 60% of the time until I started exiting to character select frame, the logging out. Since I have begun that practice, I’ve reduced the rate of failure.
Attached is the Console crash reporter.
Not seen any real issues within the game itself, but I’ll keep looking.

An Update to my earlier post. The systemwide crash, allows the kernel to restart, as well as the Finder. Only ‘outward’ sign is that my desktop image changes ( scheduled to change with each restart ). Additionally – after one of these types of crash, GW2 no longer will launch. I have to actually restart completely manually, then with a clean machine – all is well until next time. TIA Al

This is something that is pretty common with the mac wrapper. To avoid the restart, you can use Activity Monitor and Force Quit that guild wars 2 process.

I have all the same problems on Maverick with a 2010 iMac. Guild Wars 2 often force restart my computer on crashes and when I exit.

They should contact a company like Aspyr to resolve these issues.
