Guild Wars 2

I was running a dungeon then my screen went black, for about 3 seconds went back to game then it happened again crashing my game. I had this message ’ Graphics card not responding but problem was resolved’

I logged back in and it happened again, but this time I was getting white screen tears all over my screen that were flickering until the game froze and crashed.

I have system restored my PC, uninstalled my current driver and re downloaded, and even tried older and updating drivers , nothing has worked. I have checked 3D settings also.

Im using Windows 7 64bit with Nvidia GTS450 Graphics card.

I’ve had this problem in the past with other games, all I can tell is that my graphics card was dying which it eventually did but, yours could just be overheating, take it out and see if there’s dust in the cooing fins and on the fan, hopefully this is all it is, also it would be worth checking all other components for dust, you can buy an can of compressed air from most pc supply shops to do the cleaning of dust, try to discharge any static electricity you may have on yourself before messing in your pc.
