Black lines
I have no idea what Your Graph card is, never heard about it, is it a mobile card ?
Anyway try to uninstall your drivers adn make clean install, if that won’t work, install older drivers.
Also try changing graphic settings cause maybe some option on low/noone may cause this.
Oops… I meant 7800… silly typo. I edited my post.
well that makes difference
And first of all Check Your boxes in options menu – look for anystupoid options to add positioning lines or anything like that, not sure there ever was something like that but those lines are to stright to seem some kind of driver/graph problem
Anyway As i said first try to uninstalling your drivers and making new clean install.
If that doesn’t help, install older drivers.
And try to changing some setting in options menu. cause as I said sometimes low/noone setting for some graphical options may cause such problems.
Another option is that your graphic card is OC’ed to much…
No dice with old drivers. No dice with beta drivers either. And I’ve already tried all the options I could find.
The card isn’t OCed, and the entire system is brand new, so unless we’re talking about a faulty model, heat or OC couldn’t possibly be an issue.
try to make a ticket cause my ideas ran out
Will do.
I can also add that the lines aren’t always black.
Not sure if this will help but I had an issue today running an AMD HD 7770 graphics card where when I pressed M for map mode there was a shaking black line on the screen . I changed the graphics display option to windowed fullscreen and that solved the issue.
This is already known to the ArenaNet team, they have acknowledged it as a bug and are currently working on a fix for it.
