Ever since the new up-date, I havent been able to play the game, or even open the menu screen. After I log in, the screen turns black and… well that’s it. I’ve tried to follow the repair instructions, but on a Mac I don’t see a repair option or even the Local.dat file. So if someone could help me I’d greatly appreciate it!

Go into library>application support>guild wars 2

Remove or delete this folder and try running it again.

Hebi, the users library folder is hidden by default in Mountain Lion. Open up a Finder window, then hold the alt/option key and click on the Go menu. As long as you are holding alt/option, you will see Library listed there.

Once you click on Library, you should be able to browse through to Application Support and delete the Guild Wars 2 folder.
