“I’m banned for what? I’ve avoided saying anything since I last got banned and I still get banned? Do you guys just ban people because many people falsely report someone and claim it to be in the ToS as a defence for your behavior and unreasonable bannings?

This support site is just for show, I sweer. I have never submitted a report here and got helped in-game. Not for when I got hacked or anything else. When you get hacked and the hacker deletes everything in your account, you guys will just say “we can’t help you” unlike in WoW where they will actually help you. Do something about your worthless support for your customers, you have so many bugs in-game and now you’re just banning people because if a X amount of people report you, you get suspended.

I really hope you’re not gonna disappoint me like everytime. I’m sick of your treatment ANet, because if you don’t rule this unfair ban. I’m just gonna quit the game as you just flag people for no real reason."

I just filed a ticked a couple of hours ago, and it got closed without any response and I got a mail that asks for how great ANet’s support team’ help was. I hope you guys are just trolling, cause this is simply sick and frustrating.

no idea why you got banned, But as far as saying they will say “we can’t help you” I feel this is completly untrue. I have had my account hijacked in GW1, They got it back for me and rolled it back to the day before it was hacked.

What you have written is not only untrue, it’s offensive. Our Support Team helps people every day — restoring stolen accounts, returning the account to it’s pre-compromise state, taking action against inappropriate action, removing scammers from the game and much, much more.

Your ticket would only be closed without response if you had submitted duplicates, or if you had received a response that told you the final decision on the matter via that or another ticket. The job of Customer Support is the help players, and the team does that every day of the year.

If you think you did not get a response, check Spam. Check Junk. We have learned that some ISP’s block our messages. There’s not much we can do, but if you suspect that has happened to you, send us a different email address, with a different provider and we’ll continue to try to discuss your issue with you! And I truly sympathize with this, because if you truly did not receive a response, why in heck did you receive the survey? That’s just wrong!

Again, we want to help, when we can!

@Danielrjones i can confirm this its bin a month or so when my gw2 account got hacked and i immediatly sended in a ticket
it took about 3 hours when my account was restored and rolled back be4 the hack they actually did it pretty fast
proberly because i was playing atm they hacked me so i could immediatly respond to it

And I don’t think you thought much about that junk mail thing you said, if I got the survey mail and the mail that confirms that I’ve submitted a mail, how would I not notice their response? I also made another ticket and I still didnt get a response. 130801-000184

@Gaile Grey, anytime I see post that are blantly untrue, I feel the need for people to stand up. It’s only the right thing to do.

@Dutch Glad to hear. I as I mentioned in a different thread. I have sent in at least 8-9 tickets over the years. I have never had a problem with support.
Yes I feel mistakes can be made, as had it happen once. But they quickly resolved it.

I have learned, it seems those who jump on a forum and pitch little fits. Are usually those who have violated a rule and feel they can justify it somehow.
For me its pretty black and white. Either you did or did not. If you did. You have no one to blame but yourself, so put on your big girl panties and deal with it. If you did not, Anet has the ability to see and will resolve the issue.

Question – was the closure date 3 days since the last communication on the ticket? (Either from you to them, or them to you?) Then what happened is you got hit by the system’s “All must be well” ‘feature’. Either update the ticket every couple of days (even if just “hallo? Still need help”) or post in the sticky for tickets 3 days or older in this forum.

Not at all, my ticket was closed in 1 hour after being submitted without a response… And what’s killing me is that I got sent a survey asking for how great their “help” was.

Why oh WHY did you make another ticket, darn it!? No matter whether a ticket says it is closed or not, you can reopen it simply by responding. I will look into this, so give me a chance to see what’s going on.

Secondly, as the team will tell you, you stepped FAR across the line with your references to sexual assault at 23:32 GMT on 7/31/2013.
