Guild Wars 2

My friend’s computer broke today and he played Guild Wars 2 a lot. The thing is he is wondering how to play his Guild Wars 2 cd on a new computer if he used his product key on his old computer. Does he have to get a new product key?

The key just registers your account to make sure you plaid for and uptaned an account legaly. You can play your account on any computer you want but only on on computer at one time. There are only two times you need the key the first time is when you first register your account and the second as proof that you are the righful owner of the account should your account ever be hacked and or stolen. You will never have to ever enter the key ever again but hopefully everyone has made a backup copy of their key just in case you need to ever prove that the account is yours.
