Dear all,

After my laptop died back in 2013 or so I haven’t been able to play the game. With the new announcement I was hoping to get back into it and ammseriously looking for a budget laptop that could play the game with a reasonable frame rate.

My last laptop said it met the minimum reqs but could only play at 10 for or so. It’s been years, so I’m hoping that laptop technology has gotten better (and more affordable). Thank you for any help!!

Got a company laptop last year and installed the game for ‘lost’ hours when I am on a business trip. Playing and especially fps largely depend on your (graphic) settings and your ic. Living in the Netherlands I played the game on holiday in Indonesia. Did not have problems. On some occasions I had some lag due to bad ic. At home I never have problems. Think the specs of an ordinary laptop nowadays are such that you can play the game very well. Only thing is the small screen when you are used to an 24 inch or so! Hope this will help you.
