Guild Wars 2

So I have decided, that I will buy GW2. But I have a problem and I have some questions about it. My brother bought GW2 a year or so ago. I got my own character (warrior) to lvl 80 and I actually built it up better than his own main character if you ask me . I farmed and spent a lot of time playing my character. We decided to make my warrior Twillight. We already have some mats and some gifts for it. But after that I decided that I’d buy GW2 so we could both play together. Now is it possible that 2 people access that same account at once? Is it possible to trans characters across accounts? I would really appreciate the answers and the time you would have to take. Thanks! (I am sending this from my brothers account) (I have created a topic because submit a request ain’t working or smth…)

The answer is no.
According to the user agreement it is not allowed to share accounts. So what you and your brother have been doing the last year is actually against the user agreement. The reason thats account sharing is not allowed is cause one person is responsable for everything going on. This also cause it often leads to ownership disputes. (like you actually allready have, you admit that it is your brothers account, but you claim to own atleast one character.

So your best bet is to start all over yourself, but strike a deal with your brother to help you on the way.

Well, you can make the Twilight and then give it to a character on your new own account. Just do not equip it or choose the stats. Those things make bind it.
