Guild Wars 2

Hello,
i’m going to buy a new pc (notebook) tomorrow; i know that notebook aren’t the best choice for gaming in general but i need a notebook for other important reasons…

so, i was interested in a particular notebook with the following specs but i’m not sure it can run gw2 (i don’t want to run it on ultra or high settings but medium-low).

specs
CPU: intel i7 (2.2ghz up to 3.2ghz, quadcore, turbo boost, hyperthreading)
GPU: nvidia 635m (2gb DDR3)
RAM: 8gb (1600 mhz ddr3)
OS: window 8

so, can i run gw2 on mid-low specs witht his pc? I think the botlneck of this pc will be the gpu but this is the only good price/quality notebook i finded (716€).
Also do you think that a 640m would be better as gpu?

You will be able to run GW2 for sure.

However, you will get a lot of benefit tuning your graphics settings.

It is a pretty good notebook spec tho.

That will ‘run’ GW2 yes.

Low/medium – More likely low if u want sustainable high FPS.

The CPU , like al lLaptops, will not holdo ut very well in LA/ WvW/ Large Dynamic Events.

But for PvE it should do fine.
