Hello guys!

I’m wondering if anybody is having the “Unexpected error. Please try again later.” error on the gem store when you try to buy gems. I’m getting it when trying to purchase any amount of gems and using any method available (except the paysafe card thing, will try this one when I exhaust all other options). I did submit a ticket, but they haven’t been able to resolve my issue.

Same here. Paypal and credit card does not work for me either

Update: The issue was solved via support ticket, everything is working now. Thanks all for the tips how to approach this.

You should each submit a ticket to the CS Team, as each case is looked at individually. What prevents one person from purchasing Gems may not be the same for another.

Well, still can’t buy; did try this time from my Macbook in the office (as opposed to yesterday from home). So different OS, different ISP; only things in common is my account and ANet’s payment provider, so I guess it’s either one of those. My bet is still on ANet’s payment provider though.

Just an update: support fixed the issue very quickly. They couldn’t tell me exactly what was the issue but urged me to contact them if experiencing issues with making purchases in the future.

Good to hear! Unfortunatly they couldn’t help me much, they just told me to try again later or use a gem card, which I can’t because they are not being sold in my country.

Okay, so with the awesome help of the support guys and gals, we managed to resolve this issue. I want to share the solution for anybody that has the same problem in the future:

there should be no special characters in any of the fields (including periods, dashes…etc)

As simple as it may sound, some of us come from contries where where writing your adresses with punctuations in them is the norm.

I hope this helps anybody else!
