Can my Mac run this game?
You’ll probably have better luck asking in the Mac Beta Client forum.
I have it on PC, a desktop, but I would like to get the game on my Mac Book when I can’t use the desktop. Can someone tell me whether or not the game will even run on this thing? Here are the stats (I’m horrible with computers):
Model Name: MacBook
Model Identifier: MacBook5,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 3 MB
Memory: 2 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
What GPU are you sporting?
R.I.P. City of Heroes, 2004-2012
Long Live Atlas Park 33
What GPU are you sporting?
NVIDIA GeForce 9400M
I’d suggest upgrading your RAM, but you should be able to run the game.

GW2 will run, but performance will be horrible.
The only exclusive skyhammer stream
it won’t unless u have a good dedicated graphics card (something apple never equips their computers with) and even there performance would be very bad.

Hi Lt Surge. It might be a bit rough with your setup. I play on two machineS:
Machine 1: iMac 2.66 Ghz Quad core i5 with 4gb ram, ATI Radeon HD 4850
Machine 2: Retina Macbook Pro, 8gb ram, GeForce GT 650M
I find that on the iMac, the game runs great in Bootcamp with mostly high settings. On the retina, not so much. I was getting 50-60 fps under Win8 for a while, but then after some recent random driver update, it’s back down to 30fps on medium-high setting.
On both machines, it’s not great under the mac client. A reasonable 28-30fps on the iMac perhaps, but still not close to under bootcamp.
So on a straight up macbook? No sure, but I somehow doubt you will get good performance unless you’re running low settings.

Maybe if were talking about 3 years ago. My mac book can run guild wars just fine and has a Radeon as well as the crappy intel 3000 hd which i assume is the one you were talking about. Runs around 50 fps most times, ive even seen it stay at 60 actually after the lost shores update.
Well his CPU is a bit old 4y ago (may be more), apple never use high end graphics on laptops, only mid range ones (because they are hot and require more cooling, and external desing makes that imposible, they preffer the laptop to be pretty over raw power), so mid range graphics 4+years ago is just not so good now, that is what i am talking about.
