Guild Wars 2

Like on Saturday, I started up GW2 and left it to update a big update. Once I came back hours later, my computer had crashed. I didn’t go back to the game after that, but today I tried starting it up. I double click the icon, it does a swirling blue loading thing, and then it disappears. Nothing pops up, but on the Task Manager it shows that it’s running. I tried putting the disk in and starting, but the same thing happens. I tried uninstalling, but nothing happens.

right click on your guild wars 2 icon
create shortcut on your desktop
right click new icon and rename Guild Wars 2 Repair
right click said icon and go to properties
type -repair at the end of the target line out side the " mark
run that icon to scan your games files for corruption

I did it and it’s still doing the same thing.

Help please. I’m unable to uninstall this game or even start it up…

Did you go to control panel then uninstall a program?

• Rename the GW2 folder to something else where ever your installed it. Default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2 (you can delete it later when you are done reinstalling, renaming incase you still need it)
• Clear your windows temp files of GW2 stuff. C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Local\Temp
• Download gw2setup.exe again and run it
