Guild Wars 2

Hi,
I’ve been trying to purchase gems for quite some time now and all of my attempts have failed for reasons I don’t know. (Also I posted this here because I wasn’t sure if it was a bug or if I was doing something wrong)
So, I;d log into my Guild Wars, Open the black lion tab, go to buy gems, choose the option for 850 gems enter my card details and then go onto the next screen which is order confirmation but when I click confirm, It just takes me back to enter my billing information.
Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Hi Volpei, this exact same thing is happening to me also. Just get sent around in circles when I try to purchase gems. In addition, I cannot submit a ticket about it from the Support area, because my (correct) log in details are not being accepted. Hope someone will be able to offer us advice, as it’s pretty frustrating.

Same problem, definitely thought I was the only one. Really annoying. Happening for a few days now.

I’m using a Visa Card and I cannot buy gems since day 1.
I’m also getting the same issue mentioned in this thread. Once I finished entering my card info and proceed to confirm the purchase, I’m led right back to the page of card info.

Is the fix you mention here going to solve the problem for all of us, or is it just for credit cards?

p.s. It is appropriate to let you know that I have created a support ticket for this and has gotten no response. The cards I use work just fine on Amazon.com, World of Warcraft, iTunes~~~etc, so you can see how annoying it is to see that the same cards do not work in Gem Store

Yeah, I’m using a VISA Debit card, thanks for the information with the fix hope it works soon

Still can’t buy Gems with either card or paypal. I am using a debit mastercard. Just letting you know. I need grapes.! LOL

I suffered the same problem with both a MasterCard and a Visa just a moment ago.

I have been able to do this previously with a Visa gift card, but for the last 3 weeks or so i have been unsuccessful in using an American Express gift card.

Same problem i’m using a visa debit as well and it takes me back to the previous screen.

I’m having this same problem. Glad to hear Anet is working on a fix.
