Can't get into the game
Not to be a Debby downer but it’s not a problem for the VAST majority of players. Have you even tried working with CS about this or did you simply declared your system is perfectly normal and absolutely not a problem at your end so it’s their product. Just saying as I’ve never had a problem with installing … ever.
Edit: Ah, looking at your post history you’ve already discounted any help from working the CS channel. Oh well.

Submit a ticket. Coming here to rage about the issue isn’t going to help anything.
If you are using anything like SweetFX or Gemfx (or whatever it’s called) There have been reported issues and problems with logging in due to those things.
Since those things are third-party, Anet has no responsibility to even attempt to fix them, nor should they.
A little more info about the problem would also go a long way to help getting this resolved, either by official channels, or from helpful people who put up with kittens regardless.

Why can’t you login? Problem with the launcher? Connection error? Account problem? You can login, but the game won’t launch/black screen?
To generate a diagnostics file, run:
Gw2.exe -diag
I am also one of the ones that cannot log in since the latest update, would be nice to see an update or acknowledgement form anet that they are working on the issue.

Are you running any programs like SweetFX?

Just to add something, the ORIGINAL name of my post was “Arena Net I Challenge You To Respond To This”…they changed the name of my post instead. Does anyone even see my point on this?
I understand their point. A little decorum to your request.
You never answered anyone’s question about whether you submitted a ticket. Or provide to any of us the info requested to see of any of us players could be of assistance. You simple came in with both barrels blazing and your only response is a complaint that they changed your title.

Since you haven’t provided any other information, you are welcome to ignore this if it doesn’t apply.
My second computer uses windows XP and gw2 was unable to start properly. Following another person’s advice I changed the shortcut by adding -windowed after the “C:\ . . . \Gw2.exe” and was able to run gw2 as long as I stay in windowed mode.

Heres my point of view on it-
I currently havent been able to get into the game aswell since the patch. I been logging in everyday since pre but this past week havent played at all. When i enter my account email and password it fine untill i hit play. Then my computer freezes, i havent filled out a ticket since im not sure what that is. Also im not cumputer savy, i actually have to look it up on utube or yahoo to find out how to do things other people just know how to do.
Heres my other point, there are people having problems with the game since the patch. Is it not anet job who put out the game/ put in the patch to make the game accessible for the people playing it. I dont run any other software since this is the only game on my pc and i bought the family a ps4.
There is no one to talk to about the pc problems and i dont like doing things threw email. If people rage why isnt it ok for them to rage? There are so many other games out there and they want to play this one. Yet were having other people try to help us. ( I appreciate it) You are have people talk about using window mode with /gw2.exe. to play the game.
We could play the game fine until this past Tuesday so of course its frustrating when we have been able to log in and play for the past 3 years.(for gw2 and even longer for gw1)

The entire computer or just GW2? Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to see if the lock screen pops up.
Delete the folder %appdata%/Guild Wars 2/ and if it exists, the file
Documents/Guild Wars 2/Local.dat. This will reset your hardware related settings.
Locate Gw2.exe, right click it and create a shortcut. Right click the shortcut and select properties. Under the shortcut tab, you should see a textbox with “Target:” next to it. In the box should be the path to Gw2.exe. Use the following as an example to add the -windowed option to your target:
"C:\Example\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe" -windowed
If your system still freezes, update your graphics drivers. If it still freezes, this is where you’ll want to start debugging, but if this problem just started happening with the patch, there might be a problem with the game. In that case, support would want your diagnostics file (Gw2.exe -diag).

Submit a ticket. This directly contacts Customer Service, and they can help you with your issue. After you submit a ticket download game advisor

When prompted, save the file to your Windows Desktop so that you can access it easily. Please save the file before running it (running from the website can cause file issues).
Double-click on the Game Advisor file and then click on the icon of the game you’re experiencing an issue with.
Click on the Test Computer and Connection button. Once you do this, you’ll have to wait a couple of minutes while Game Advisor runs a diagnostic of your system.
Once the process completes, a “Test Result” window will come up.
You can email this test result to Anet, which will let them know whats going on, so they can fix it. More than likely they will ask you to do this when they respond to your ticket.
Contacting CS is far better than posting just in the forums. While they do read it and respond, this sends your issue directly to them, making it easier and faster for them to do what they need to do.

I’ve got the exact same thing, eversince that patch I can’t get in and all the help I get from the support is: Make a shortcut and type this in the command line, and nothing helps.
