Guild Wars 2

Hey, y’all.

I bit the bullet, and opted for CrossOver. I’m too poor to afford a nice Windows OS for Bootcamp.

Huzzah.

Anyway…anyone else simply unable to log in? The client’s downloading everything fine (neat!), but I can’t seem to get a connection. I remember reading a week or two ago that this was happening all over the place, but it seemed to be resolved.

I’m running a late-2013 iMac:

Yosemite
2.7 GHz Intel i5
16GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel Iris Pro, 1536 MB.

While, yes, Iris Pro isn’t the best for graphics (integrated), it’s certainly not bad. I should have enough processing power to do it.

Any thoughts? I might have to see if my router has a weird firewall, but I don’t think it really does…

Unfortunately this has nothing to do with your PC config or Software. Its happening all over the place, forums and reddit are full of posts that ppl cant connect.

Up till today everything worked ok for me, tonight i starged getting DCs which became more and more frequent over time up to a point when im getting DCed literally every 10 seconds.

TBH for me those DCs just ment that i can go a bit earlier in bed and get some ZzZs, however lack of Dev/GM voice in overall increasing DCing issue is kinda frustrating.

Yup, random D/C’s. Between that and the absurd Druid nerf (my main, and favorite class) don’t think I can stand this much longer.

Yeah, it got better about 20 minutes after posting. The occasional disconnect, but CrossOver is doing the job that ANet hasn’t.
