Guild Wars 2

I just bought the game off amazon, went through the registration, tried to log into the client, and it tells me I have incorrect login information. I know for a fact the information is correct, because the exact same details work perfectly fine on the forums and the website. It gives me the option to reset my password, however every time I try doing that it simply says “an error has occured” and won’t allow me to reset anything. Very frustrating as it doesnt even tell me what the issue is.

Basically it’s telling me my password is wrong without letting me do anything about it.
