Guild Wars 2

When I open the folder for Guild Wars 2 and I double click on the program, the little circle thing spins next to my clicker to show it’s loading and then nothing happens. I am a standard user (not administrator) and I have never played a game where I needed admin privileges to play. But the program successfully opens every time I try on a friend’s computer or another computer in my house that has admin privileges. Is there a way to play it without admin privileges? If I access the admin account on that computer, how do I make it so that I don’t need admin privileges to run that program every time I open it?

For Windows 7:
If you have access to the administrator account:
-Right-click on the gw2.exe in your Guild Wars 2 folder, and go to properties.
-Click on the Compatibility Tab
(Looks like the order is a little different if you want to apply to all accounts)
-Press “Change settings for all users”
-Check the box at the bottom of this new window labeled “Run as Administrator”
-Apply changes and exit the properties window.
This option should now be selected for all accounts.

EDIT: Just tested this between a regular user and admin account, and it appears to work. If you want to do this entirely from the user account:

-Right-click on the gw2.exe in your Guild Wars 2 folder, and go to properties.
-Click on the Compatibility Tab
-Check the box at the bottom labeled “Run as Administrator”
-It should ask for the administrator password, enter it.
-Apply changes and exit the properties window.
