Can't verify email

Same problem. Initial startup, new account. Can’t do anything, as everything routes back to a “verify email” page, but – no emails come. Yes, all the gw2 emails are on my contacts, and no, I emptied all folders to make it easier to find any from GW… and nada.
No personal or non automated letters from Support – which I DID get (the typical “Robot1 reporting we recieved your support ticket”).
Googled, read, followed directions as best I could – still nada.
It was a gift – can’t refund
If you received the automated response, you can, after 72 hours, post your ticket number in the Sticky, ‘Tickets for Review’.
If it’s not yet been more than 72 hours, you will have to wait for your ticket to make its way through the queue.
