Guild Wars 2

A friend of mine really wants to play Guild Wars, but since i’m no Mac user i was wondering if any of you could telle whether or not he would be able to run the game on the following MacBook:

macbook pro 13’ early 2011
i5
4gb
intel 3000 graphics
os x 1.8.01

I don’t have one to test on, but the machine you describe appears to meet the stated minimum requirements. Given the low end graphics on that machine, I suspect that it would only run at low settings, with not particularly good frame rates.

So will it run at all? Probably.

Will it be as gorgeous and smooth as on a Windows machine with a dedicated graphics card? Probably not.

I played all night with same mac as you… play on minimal… But yes, it’s playable.
