Guild Wars 2

I am buying a new laptop, and I was just wondering if anyone had an idea of how this computer would run Guild Wars 2? I would like to play on default graphical settings at the minimum with no less than 45 fps. You think this computer would be able to deliver?

The graphics card might struggle.

A desktop would be a better choice for games, if you have the space / don’t need to travel.

sadly, I need the mobility of a laptop right now. I know I’m sacrificing a bit of performance for that mobility. :/

Try and find one with a 660M – that will last you longer for gaming. Might be quite a bit more expensive though.

$800 is on the low end of my price range so i AM willing to spend a bit more. I will begin the search. :P

Yes, it’ll play but you’ll need to turn down graphics settings. My laptop isn’t even close to being as good as your’s and it runs GW2 (with all settings to low/none) and has an ATI 4200 GPU.

For the amount you’re willing to spend, look for a better one as others suggested.
