As Mac version is in beta I understand little things like this may pop-up.

I want to bind the camera zoom in and out to my mouse wheel, alas it is not detected when I attempt to assign it in the key bind window.

There was a setting that you change to get this to be the default behavior for the mouse wheel…I had the same issue and it drove me nuts haha. Its listed on the Known issues sticky – something called scrolling gestures option. If, for some reason you cant find that, I added a keybind to the mouse wheel click that zoomed in then a ctrl+mouse wheel click to zoom out. Worked pretty well until I found that scrolling option.

Open up the in game options menu and on the first page there are two options that begin “Mac OSX Beta…” and they both relate to the mouse scrolling functions (and when ticked cause scrolling to change the camera direction instead of zoom). All you need to do is find those options and untick them.
