Guild Wars 2

I tried recruiting a friend for the game last night. She downloaded the installer from the site, and she created an account just fine. However, when she logs into the launcher, the circle just spins and spins. The game data will not download, and she cannot progress any further.

Antivirus was checked as not a factor, and she runs windows 7.

I tried searching the forum but for some reason there are no hits on this particular topic. Any help figuring it out would be appreciated.

Rename Gw2Setup.exe to Gw2.exe and place it where you want to install the game, such as C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe

Gw2Setup.exe bugs on some systems, showing the login box instead of the install button. You can’t actually login when it’s like that.
