Hello,

I am trying to purchase a large amount of gems on the gemstore with a saved card. Until last night (This was not during your said maintanence), I was able to purchase gems without an issue, the most I have bought at any one time was 1600, and the least 800, and bought alot duirng halloween and during release.

Last night I tried to buy the 4000 gems for £42.50, and I got an error message, Card Approval Failed, if you want to purchase more gems you will need to verify your account.

I then tried a smaller amount, and managed to buy 1600 for £17.00. Since that last transaction, I have been unable to buy any further gems from the gem store. I have tried all amounts (800, 1600 etc…) and get the following error message:

Card Approval failed. Please check your card details and if you continue to get this message contact support.

My email address and GW2 account is verified. Why can I no longer purchase gems!

I have enough funds in my bank account. The bank is NOT declining the payment. I have tried other cards and get the same error message, so something on your end or my account is preventing me from purchasing more gems. I want to buy alot more gems, and would like this to be rectified as soon as possible.

I have submitted a ticket, but I have the money and want to spend it now. I don’t want to have to wait for 3-5 days whilst it is processed when it is probably something extremely simple that is preventing me from buying gems.

Please help.

Hello Arcane.

If you have submitted a ticket to Customer Support then you have done the right thing. However, you can still try to purchase gems a little bit later during the day; sometimes transactions do not work for some users because of the total amount of transactions that are taking place at the same time.

We proceed now to close the thread.
Thanks for your patience and understanding.
