Guild Wars 2

Hi, a friend of mine lives in Trinidad and would like to buy Guild Wars 2, would he need a US version or would he be able to connect with an EU version?

I think he needs a EU version for the region lock thing but he can make characters on the US servers if he wants to.

yea its the region lock im worried about, dont want him to buy eu version and then find out then that he needed US.

Ok found the page from the FAQ

From what I can tell he would most likely be lumped into other which would mean he will connect to US Data Centers so I guess that means he needs a US account
