Hi,
I’m very new to this game and MMO’s. I wanted to play with a friend but I didn’t know what world (server) she was in, so I’ve chosen a random one. I’d like to change to the same that she is in. I read in the forum that apparently, after deleting your character(s), you will be given the choice to choose the world again for free.
I’ve deleted my character but I’m not getting that option. I seem to be only able to create a new character in the first world I’ve chosen originally.
Am I missing something?

On the character select screen, look in the lower left corner and click the button marked World Selection.

There is a 7 (seven)-day cool-down between transfers, including your very first choice of Server.

If you created a character on a Server, you will need to wait 7 days before transferring to another server.

Thanks guys. I know where to select the world option. Looks like I need to wait few days and see what happens

If you only want to play with your friend, and not participate in WvW, any server in the same region will be fine.
