So i decided to buy a new license in order to get the same display name and character name, i just pre-checked on my old account if the name i desire is available and made a character to reserve it for myeslf. When i got my new license, even after deleting the character on first account i was unable to create it on my new license, whilist i can still recreate character with the same name on my old one, i can create and delete it over and over but it’s not letting me get my name on my new license even though it’s not taken. it;s just pur bullkitten, i basically wasted 25 eur and i won’t get help from support since support tickets never answer, what a bad system, ripping people off money

If it hasn’t been 24 hours since you last deleted the character, that’s why.

ANet has given your original account a 24 hour hold on the name.

And to further explain why about the 24 hours, it’s so people can use naming contract, and while they rename, the original is still available if they wish to create a name person with that original name. It gives them time to do all that while they are working with things. It also is so if something needs to delete a character, but wants to recreate it, they won’t lose their name they had. If you don’t recreate after 24 hours, then it’s a good chance you didn’t want the name.

Next time though something doesn’t work, don’t jump the gun and assume Anet is ripping people off of money. It really is in poor taste to get angry when there are some very clear reasons why.
