Bettatthanu, the best thing you can do is file a ticket yourself and explain the issue, then play an alt for a few days. This will lessen the amount of people that see your character and potentially report your name.
Having someone else report your name is much more serious than reporting it yourself.

I have a problem. I named one of my characters a name that can be offensive to some. I did know this from the moment I made the character. It was a joke at first and now i sincerely regret it. I played this character quite a lot and now I am afraid of getting reported for my name and am wondering if there is a way I could get my name changed to something that wont be offensive and wont get me in trouble.
P.S. the name of the character is “I Have Downs”
As mentioned above, self reporting for issues like this is the best way to go. Please file a ticket and point out the name so that the team can assist you in remaining the character. Thank you for asking about this and for realizing the name really isn’t a good one.

If the 4 digit code at the end is different. It’s likely a different person and account.
