Guild Wars 2

Currently any toon I have in Lion’s Arch once i log into character screen disconnects the game with error code 42 the firewall crap. 3 other characters around the world all log in fine. I was in a fotm and game crashed now i have this.

Same here. I tried logging into a character stationed in Lions Arch, but I get a “The game client is unable to gain access to the lo-in server at this time..” message. I had an alt in queensdale, and was able to log in without issue with that character – to which I decided to try to zone into Lions Arch – bad move: zoneing into Lions Arch gave me another “The game client us unable to gain access to the log-in server at this time..” message. Now I have two characters I cannot log into

Ditto, alts are fine but my main in Lion’s Arch (I was in WvW) gets LD’d everytime I try to log in. Must be AN telling me I should spread my time around multiple toons, haha.

Same here, Lion’s Arch is the problem.

Lion’s Arch is not the problem. I’m having the same issue just logging in to the character select screen and also with characters in other zones besides Lion’s Arch, including Wayfarer Foothills and Metrica Province. The problem has to be an issue with the servers themselves or the internet backbone near the servers. I don’t see any backbone problems at http://www.internetpulse.net/ but that site doesn’t always have accurate and up-to-date information (anyone know a better source?).

I’m on a NA server and getting the same problem but only with Lion’s Arch. I managed to get my main character in Lion’s Arch to log in after I logged a character that was somewhere else but when I tried to leave Lion’s Arch got the same disconnect error message. I think Lion’s Arch does have a problem, not saying its the only problem, but it seems to be about connecting or reconnecting to the server via zoning or other things have have you pass though the technical void.

So because you have other issues, it can’t be limited to LA for some of us?
