Can Guild Wars 2 be played on a Chrome Box or Chrome Book?

No. Chrome OS it’s essentially a stripped down linux version that uses Chome web browser for it’s UI and web apps for it’s applications.

Hmm, that’s cutting it close. You could get a setup with that money but I wouldn’t plan on it running GW2 on anything but medium settings at most. Check out Newegg, you’ll pretty much find what your looking for there.

I was also going to suggest an AMD cpu setup which would save you up to $100 but if you read these forums you’ll understand why. If you didn’t already have a video card then the new Trinity AMD cpu’s which include video would be worth a look.

As for buying parts, Black Friday is coming. wait two weeks. should be many parts on sale. Might be even cpu/mobo/ram combo deals on newegg.

Well, following black friday is cyber monday, so that would be the time to find deals online.

Actually, keep watching for parts sales, as they are trickling in daily deals going up towards BF day and after. At least for newegg.

new egg has a i3 2120 for 124$

double that and you’ll get E3-1230v2, which is totally superior.
