Issue started around the Wintersday update.

Occasionally, when I try to change maps (ie: Waypoint to Frostgorge Sound from Lion’s Arch) the client will crash to the desktop. Occurs on average at least once during a 3 hour period.

Any suggestions such as verifying or updating client files on my computer?

My client crashes every few minutes. I am unable to stay on the game to get anything done. This is getting very frustrating. Each time it crashes, it does a long Game Data verification archive b.s. which takes about 1 hr. Then i log in and it crashes again in few minutes….

I have the same problem here. Sometimes when i change a map i will crash and go back to windows and sometimes even worse….not even use a warp point i will crash.
Please does anybody has a solution?

i had this problem too, turns out i had bad sectors on my HDD and it was the reason for crashes, swapped HDD no more crashing
