Lovely honestly this is ridiculous what’s going on Tech Support what is the issue. Zero answers yet from the all knowing google.
My client crashes right when I click the “GW2.exe” program, this is the message:
—> Crash <—

And the second time:
—> Crash <—

Can I get help to resolve this?

(too long post)
Is anyone looking into this? I can’t play the game at all right now..
Even when I download a new “gw2setup” from the account page the gw2 client still crashes right as it starts.
Same here. Stuck on Initializing.
Gents I fixed the issue apparently my PC was plagued some adware I didn’t recognize even though I periodically check for these apparently some got by me somehow…anyways that’s a different story.
Downloaded bitdefender’s free adware identifier and remover and zero issues now link is below and it is legit feel free to look around on the net for its legitimacy but it is a well recognized program anyways cheers and enjoy GW2 again.
http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/adware-removal-tool-for-pc.html
P.S. they also have a free mac version as well.
Something to note you will have to restart your PC after you run bitdefender in order for it completely remove any adware. It does tell you this but I think I missed it somewhere and I took a bio break wonder why in the hell it was still scanning my pc and saying i had the same number of adware programs and second time around I noticed the statement letting me know i had to restart my PC for the removal process to be complete.
Cheers again!
