This issue began today for me, I’m assuming it began with Tuesday’s patch, but this is the first time I’ve logged in since then. Anyway, I will be playing along when the game comes to an abrupt freeze, but not just the client, my entire PC. Alt f4, cnrt alt delete, windows tab, alt tab, nothing works. I still have the game music playing, but other than that I can’t do anything aside from powering down by PC manually with the reset button. This has now happened 3 times within about a 30min time period. Theres no lag or anything pre-freeze that would indicate its about to happen. Is this a known issue, or am I alone in this? Any suggestions for trouble shooting? Thanks in advance!

Are you doing any overclocking – especially on your graphics card?

Similar issue. Starting tuesday 18th march 2014. System freezes up constantly. Within a few seconds a pop-up reports: system error c0000005. Unrecoverable. Report submitted to Arenanet.
I do a restart of GW2. no system reboot needed.
Using Macos Maverick on native iMac 2013. No other games installed or played.
Native machine with Maverick. Been playing since april 2013.

you really need to post this in the MAC forums, as its going to require some MacOS level debugging. c0000005 is an access violation between an application (DLL, Driver, Program fault) and your system. It might not have anything to do with GW2.exe at all.
