Client crashing constantly
I had the same problem, too. I am not sure the error code and I am using Mac beta client. I did upgrade the OS to 10.8.4 recently, so I am not sure what cause the problem. Hope it can be fixes as soon as possible.
It seems its not just LA, its happening everywhere.
One strange symptom is that the client only appears to ‘half crash’ in that the client window is still open, usually just a black screen, and is not properly closed when the error report pop up is generated. Also the client seems to ‘stay on top’ of all other windows, so i can open task manager but the cursor is still the client cursor and clicks do nothing to other windows (the Windows taskbar is usable as normal with normal desktop cursor).
Be nice if one of the tech gurus at least let me know this has been notices
Still getting the problem today after patch

Hi there Traldera* – This is actually a Windows based error code which indicates a CRC error. I’d start with a Disk Check.
Just as a hint for future, when the game crashes like that and the mouse keeps clicking the game window and not task manager, you need to alt+tab to task manager and use the keyboard to navigate it (tab, arrows, and alt+(letter combination) to command it to force quit a task…. I forget the letters, but the activating letter is typically underlined in the word.
Kyllaa – yeah i got that thanks :P
Ashley – thanks for the reply. Any chance you could expand a little on that? Or if anyone else could? I’ve never had to repair CRCs before, and its on my OS drive so cant really move it elsewhere, at least not easily

A CRC check is simply just making sure the data got to you without any modifications due to transitioning from where ever it was to your hard drive. The only way to fix it is to redownload the game. Sometimes though the hard drive has a bad sector that corrupts the data thus making the CRC fail. Perform a disk check by doing the following:
Open ‘My Computer’
Right-click the hard drive Guild Wars 2 is on and click ‘Properties’
A new window opens, go to the ‘Tools’ tab
In the first section of this tab is a section labeled ‘Error-checking’ hit the button labeled ‘Check now…’
A new window pops up, check both boxes and hit ‘Start’
