Client keep saying: Downloading 0KB (0KB/sec)

When I open guild wars 2 the client keep saying: Downloading 0KB (0KB/sec) for hours, it does nothing. Now i have uninstalled guild wars 2 and I was trying to install it again. But now i get the same problem with the client. Can someone help me?

Having a similar problem still this evening. It creeps at around 10 KB/s, down to 0. Occasionally gets up around 100, but not for long. I’ve never had trouble with DL speeds and GW2, but then I also don’t really play that much.

Hi DJezy,

Do you have any firewalls or security software enabled at all? That’s the usual culprit for a frozen launcher. Any other troubleshooting steps you want to provide that you’ve tried on your end would be helpful as well!

I ran into the same symptoms the other day. In my case, it turned out to be I was running mumble (voice comms program) and its overlay was interfering. I’d have noticed faster except this was a new build, so EVERYTHING was new.

It’s probably not the most common of reasons, but worth checking out

I also have this problem. Appeared today, no new programs are not installed, no other settings are not changed.
